What This Calculator Does
The Date Difference Calculator counts the exact time between any two dates. It shows total days, weeks and days, years, months, and business days (weekdays only).
How It Works
Both dates are parsed to UTC. Total days = (end - start) / 86400000. Weeks and remaining days use integer division. Business days iterate through the range counting Mon-Fri.
Example
From January 1 to March 15, 2026: 73 total days, 10 weeks and 3 days, 0 years 2 months 14 days, 53 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are weekends included in the count?
Total days includes all calendar days. Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays.
Does it count holidays?
No. Business days are Monday through Friday only. Public holidays are not excluded.
Can I calculate backward?
If the start date is after the end date, the calculator shows the difference in reverse.
